2A- Bug List
Bugs:
1. When I come home from a long day of work/school and I have to get out of my car and open the front door to the house instead of the garage being already opened.
-This bug exists because of poor communication with my roommates and poor planning between all of our schedules.
2. When the resell value of sneakers that I have bought to make a profit off of declines to no profit.
-This bug exists because of too much supply of the sneaker making it easier to get for everyone.
3. When my anxiety reaches new and uncomfortable levels for starting a new semester at UF.
I believe this exists because I am still developing my social confidence, etc.
4. When it is near the end of the day and I realize I did not remember to bring a cellphone charger.
-This bug exists because I never think my battery will die out as fast as it should.
5. Walking down the streets and it begins to rain and I do not have an umbrella.
-This bug exists because I was unprepared and did not check the weather layout for the day.
6. When you wait in a 20 minute Starbucks drive-thru line and the baristas still mess up your order.
-This bug exists because the employees are either not properly trained or inexperienced, etc.
7. The traffic on archer road has become too chaotic at or around rush hour and has made me very impatient.
-This bug exists because the infrastructure of the roads in Gainesville are not built to support to rapidly increasing population.
8. As I was entering my room last night I came across a huge spider and I had to figure out what to do.
-This bug exists because I am horrified of spiders and they are just gross!
9. Today after class having to drive home in my burning hot car and waiting for it to cool down.
-This bug exists because we live in central Florida where it is not very cool out, EVER!
10. Today after a long day I had to get gas for my car even when I was completely exhausted.
-This bug exists because my car is a V8 and basically eats gas way too fast!
11. The noise of the alarm clock buzzing in my ear at 7:47 this morning after only sleeping for 4 hours and having to go to work.
-This bug exists because I am tired and it was very cold out this morning making the alarm clock noise even more annoying.
12. When I was driving home I saw a large trash bag being run over and all of the materials inside flying all across the street, polluting the environment excessively.
-This bug exists because people are careless and irresponsible about their lifestyle.
13. Having to get up this morning and putting on layers of clothing for the cold day requires a lot of work and wish clothes could be put on themselves.
-This bug exists because after each day putting on clothes and coming up with a new outfit is aggravating and annoying.
14. When you spend hours out of your day to wash your car and it ends up raining either later that evening or the next day.
-This bug exists because you cannot control the weather or mother nature's plans!
15. Sitting in my bed at night and not being able to fall asleep for over an hour.
-This bug exists most likely because I have a lot on my mind and am very concerned about things some days.
16. When you are walking down the side of the road past someone who is smoking a cigarette and you inhale a large cloud of their exhale.
-This bug exists most likely because I am very conscious about my health and do not like the smell of cigarette smoke.
17. Seeing your neighbor walking their dogs and not cleaning up after them when they have gone to the restroom in the grass.
-This bug exits due to people being inconsiderate of others and the possibility of someone stepping in the dog's poop.
18. After playing on Xbox for a few hours at a time and the batteries in the remote controller die and you are out of batteries and can no longer play.
-This bug exists because batteries are expensive to have a lot of inventory of and the fact that the controller eats up the batteries rather quickly.
19. When you are emailing someone important and they do not use proper grammar for a possible recommendation letter, etc.
-Although this article here may have grammar issues, it bugs me when it is a very simple grammatical error that anyone could catch if they reread their work.
20. During rush hour on Archer road here in Gainesville, FL there are raging drivers behind the wheel who almost cause head on collisions with either myself or other harmless citizens.
-This bug exists because a lot of drivers are impatient and could have had a bad day at work and are taking their anger out on their car/road.
Reflection:
After brainstorming what things bug me in life for a day, I returned to this assignment and was able to complete it with ease. To be honest, there are many more things that make me happy in life than what bugs me; however, once I started this assignment a lot of annoying bugs came to my mind that were of different variety and that happen quite often (unfortunately). It was easiest to identify why these twenty bugs exists because of the fact that they are very frequent bugs that are relate-able to people my age and in this class. Overall, we as humans are very picky and life always has things aka bugs that are not made to be able to cope with for everyone. In my opinion, this is why we must find what motivates us in life in order to make sure we work hard to eliminate these annoying harassments that others or things may cause one stress.

After brainstorming what things bug me in life for a day, I returned to this assignment and was able to complete it with ease. ReplyDeleteI really liked your post! I totally agree with you about the traffic on Archer Road being out of control. I am always late when I make plans that involve driving on Archer! I believe that the congestion is not only caused by insufficient infrastructure, but also by the large number of people who attend and are employed by the University of Florida. The amount of people attempting to go to the same places is likely a huge cause of the terrible traffic.
