30A – Final Reflection
1. Throughout the duration of this semester there has been both highs and lows, as if I were on a non stopping roller coaster. Looking back on the posts I made for this class easily reminded me of all the great times we have had in this class. Times of great success and points of complete tiredness reflect the majority of my posts that I appreciate each individually to a large extent.
2. The most formative experience was when we had to make our Elevator Pitches over and over until we were satisfied with our best one. This really helped grow my entrepreneurial background and experience because being able to talk is important in the business field. However, it was just a great opportunity to see yourself speaking and because we were given a second and third attempt to knock the assignment out of the park. I was very pleased with this assignment as I thought it turned out great and it was the most enjoyable to complete, and I will definitely remember it for years to come.
3. At the end of this semester, I definitely gained some entrepreneurial skills that I did not know I had initially. When I see a chance to succeed, I feel like this class has made me stronger in that "reaching the finish line" mindset. This class has opened my eyes up that almost the whole world consists of entrepreneurial opportunities that should all be taken advantage of properly.
4. A recommendation that I would make for a future student going down this journey in the near future would be to stay ahead of pace with a good agenda. Make a detailed schedule of the deadlines that are each week and set reminders to complete them. This class teaches one a lot about self discipline and that hard work does not come easy. So with this in mind, I would hope the future student prepares his/herself in the best and most helpful way possible that is not too overwhelming.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your final reflection post. I totally agree with you about our elevator pitches being the most formative experience in this class. While it definitely was not the easiest task, I also noticed a drastic improvement in each of my videos as well as your videos. I also think it is awesome that you feel that this class has enabled you to gain some more entrepreneurial skills.

ReplyDeleteI like how you point out the highs and lows of this semester, I really understand how back and forth it can feel as a student especially in classes that require a lot of work. It's interesting how you picked elevator pitches as the most formative exercise we did, I too enjoyed them. I hope you learned a lot from this class that you can take and use one day!
